Description
The Babolat Pure Drive 30th Anniversary (Unstringed) 300g celebrates three decades of explosive power, clean feedback, and all-court versatility with a special-edition cosmetic honoring one of the most iconic racquets ever created. This limited 30th Anniversary model preserves the unmistakable DNA of the Pure Drive—big power, fast acceleration, and a forgiving sweet spot—while refining comfort and feel for the modern player who wants commanding performance from anywhere on the court. Whether you’re dictating from the baseline, stepping inside the court to punish short balls, or finishing points with decisive volleys, the Pure Drive 30th Anniversary keeps the foundation of effortless power while enhancing touch, vibration control, and responsiveness.
The racquet’s 100 sq in head size delivers the ideal blend of forgiveness and precision, giving players confidence to swing freely while maintaining directional control. At 300 g unstrung, the frame feels stable and solid without sacrificing maneuverability, letting intermediate and advanced players accelerate through the ball with ease on both groundstrokes and serves. The racquet’s 16×19 open string pattern, combined with the aerodynamic frame, provides excellent spin potential and improved ball bite, helping you shape trajectories, clear the net with safety, and still attack the court with depth and pace.
Coming unstrung, this model allows players to customize their setup exactly to their performance preferences—whether prioritizing maximum power with a polyester string, improved feel with a multifilament, or a hybrid for balanced responsiveness. The 30th Anniversary edition also retains the modern Babolat technologies that enhance playability, comfort, and explosiveness, making it a frame that respects its heritage while being fully optimized for today’s fast-paced tennis.
POWER
The Pure Drive is legendary for its easy access to power, and this anniversary release stays true to that reputation. The HTR System in the layup increases torsional rigidity, improving energy return during high-intensity shots and helping players hit deeper with less effort. Whether you’re crushing forehands from the baseline or stepping into a flat backhand, the racquet delivers instant acceleration and penetrating ball speed.
SPIN
The open 16×19 string pattern works with Babolat’s FSI Power technology to increase string movement and enlarge the sweet spot. This allows the ball to sit on the strings longer, producing higher spin rates and better control over trajectory—perfect for modern players who rely on heavy topspin and aggressive shape on their shots.
FEEL
The integration of SWX Pure Feel technology enhances comfort on every impact. Using advanced vibration filtration materials, the racquet provides a cleaner, more connected feel at contact without sacrificing the explosive response that Pure Drive players love. The improved feedback helps with touch shots, slices, and precise redirections under pressure.
